I went riding yesterday with a couple of friends. I washed the bike today. I thought I would share a few pictures, let me give you guys living in the snow belt something to look forward to. Your Spring is coming, just hold on a little longer, enjoy my pictures in the meantime.

That's a Corbin seat, it is a great improvement over the OEM. Corbins are relatively hard and don't have much give, but the shape and thus the support it gives me is excellent. I saw one on an FJR at a dealer once and tried it out and liked it. I'd say that if the Corbin shape fits you, you will like the seat a lot. But if the shape does not fit you, you'll hate it because it wont conform to your shape.

Oh, the warm weather is on the way, but it might be on a slow train.

You know, your pictures aren't really making me feel all that warm and fuzzy right now because my 09 is still in the garage covered like grandma and it's still cold as day old shit here in NY. Furthermore, I see the type of neighborhood I'd love to live in, a street with no potholes, and a Vette in your garage; mine is still in the magazine! Damn it, I feel poor as hell right now because of you! I think you missed a spot on the left side fairing! Man, I'm only joking...enjoy the bike, weather and may you always keep it on the rubber side brother. I'm looking forward to the riding season and my annual trip to Lake George for the Americade motorcycle rally.

somebody told me once that bikes that clean must be ghey

just pulling ya chain...it's beautiful

course, my attitude is I bought my bike to ride, not show off

happy riding

let's ride safe and be careful out there,

Nice, I really like the black. Mine is silver and always dirty. I've got a nieghbor that just washes all his bikes. I think in two years I've only seen him ride once. Each to thier own but it looks real sharp and I do love the weather there. I miss the sun up here in the great wet north.

Cleanliness is......

Nice pics and ride. Wash the bags too?

Weather is beautiful out, did a evening dinner ride on my 08' today..

Sorry, no washing yet.

I spotted the back end of a C6 Corvette in the garage - now this guy has it made! What a decision to be made on a beautiful Saturday morning, "Shall I take the FJR for a spin or head out in the 'Vette?".

Hmmmmm,,,,

Decisions, Decisions.

Nice looking *clean* '08. Don't mind the ruffians here...they're all snowbound with cabin fever! ;) Good looking 'vette too!

Thanks looking forward to seeing my 08 soon. We still have snow on the ground and lots of sand on the road. A few good rainstorms the snow and sand will be gone and mud season will almost be over.

Just a few weeks away till I can start riding again.

I leave the bags off for sport, and pretty much use them only for touring. It's clean, but I ride it a lot, as a matter of fact, I went for a spin yesterday, a couple of hours after I washed it.

Looks identical to mine, except for the Givi topcase and Vstream shield...

Nice Vette, what year is it? I used to have a 99 targa before I went to the dark side and bought a Porsche Turbo.

...

Had similar thoughts.

How the heck do ride and not have chafe rub marks from boots?

Or farkles other than the seats?

Wow, it got to almost 50 degrees yesterday, but the driveway and streets are still caked with ice and sand. Snowed a little more last night. Maybe this weekend...?

Don't see a problem with riding and keeping it clean. These are nice looking bikes and look even better when they are clean. I have about the same milage on my 08, but I don't know how you keep the undercarraige so clean. I'm guessing at least a third of my milage was ridden in rain. Yours looks like it's never been out in any rain. Looks almost new.
