My pillion passengers have always liked these things for the additional foot and knee positions they permit. I've had them mounted with and without peg extenders, based on the preferences (and inseam) of the pillion passenger who has priority. I don't think you'll regret buying them if there's even a possibility that she'll be more comfortable behind you.
If they are still available on Friday, I will by them for sure. Budget is a little tight right now.
