Michelin is now selling the PR4--supposed to get 20% better mileage, better handling, and better all-year stability. There will be three versions: standard PR4 for all-around sport-touring; PR4 GT for heavier touring bikes, and PR4 Trail for adventure bikes. Not a lot of detail available yet. Scroll down on this page for a brief description:

I am all for a better product, but I think Michelin is making way too complicated.

Too many choices. Do I want the Standard PR4 or the PR4 GT? The info says the GT is for heavier touring bikes. Not sure if the FJR's sport handling will suffer from the GT's stiffer sidewalls; I'm thinking the GT might be better for straight-up touring, worse for the twisties. Hmm--I know. I'll get both!
