Thanks for the vid, Jdog. I love that area and really wanted to build a vacation house out there. I went so far as to buy a lot but later sold it, as I realized it was too far away. I always wanted to ride Mil Portero road out to Ojai and the valley below, and I never got to actually drive past Pine Mountain Club. Your video let me know what I'd been missing.

How are the road conditions up there? I had heard that the route was a favorite tire testing ride for the motorcycle mags, but that the conditions were often hit or miss. I understand a writer actually crashed there and is now wheelchair bound (his accident was due to a driver making a u turn).

This weekend the road where just perfecto. Some minor sand spots but a good time to rip it up. This past weekend the roads where the best i have seen them in some time. Yes Hwy 33 has taken many lives & injured many do to stupid reasons. Rocks in the road you have to be ready to dodge since they fall off the hills often.
