I am looking at some tires. Any thought on teh Pirelli super sports? I found a set for $200

They'll stick like glue, and you can potentially have a lot of fun on them, but they will wear very very fast.

They are crotch rocket tires and the FJR is gonna punish them. You might get 3k out of them...For $200, why not?

That seems to be the complaint from many riders. They wear very fast. I have Michelins on there now and they grab well too.

Tbhe $200 seems like a great deal but Cycle gear seems to sale the set every year for $178 and a diff set for $199. Always pays to ask and do your research. The $200 set I found was on craigslist in Folsom,Ca.

I had a set of these on my VFR800 a few years ago.

They even wore out fast on that bike. And it was over a hundred pounds and 500 cc lighter, so...

I doubt you'd even get 3k miles out of the back one on an FJR.

How much time or money do you want to spend mounting tires is the question here.

Yea that seems to be the concensus I am getting. I do want something that sticks but I also want something that lasts.
