Need to take a quick trip from Eastern NC to Washington DC. See planned route via Radar Detector safe territory.

I think it's worth the slight detour, how about you???

We'll be on the lookout for you just in case you accidentially slip into ole' Virginnie - we don't take kindly to radar detector using motorcycle hoods! But seriously, Lorie and I are 40 miles south of DC and if you have the time and inclination we'd be happy to see ya! I'll warn you that the only thing in life worse then DC traffic (bad traffic if from a circle centered on DC extending out 50+ miles in all directions) is......well, nothing! But rest assured that rush hour is only from 0500 - 1000 and from 1430 - 1930. No, I'm not kidding.

If you do have any questions on traveling up here please send me a note.

Jim

Hey Jeff,

That trip is hilarious. I'm in Winchester Va, stop and say hi! I'll meet you at the border of va and wva...I wouldnt want you to cross the line!! But since this route is in 'jokes and fun stuff' im assuming its a joke. although most of the route looks like fun...if you had time. id avoid 270 and 70 though. see ya

I kept looking for an option in MS Streets to "follow state lines", but could not find any such thing. Thinking of creating a plug-in for the program that provides this option:

"Restrict routes to Radar-Safe zones only"

I think it will be a big hit. Jim said he would be my first customer, but I have to wash his bike.

:)

I don't know how quick you want t go, but Rt20 out of Princetown to Bridgeport, and 50 East out of Bridgeport thru Cheat Mountain is good. 50 goes thru a couple miles of Maryland so you could figure from there. Just a suggestion.
