I'm a programmer for the 2nd largest 911 dispatch center in North America. Believe me when I say, these things are common.

Their are great herds of absolute morons given free range in this country.

Yep. My wife is a dispatch supervisor. This is a daily occurrence.

#9 is way more common than you would think. Followed only by the parents that call us because their kids, as young as 6, are refusing to go to school. I just don't get it. If I had ever even thought of that, my dad would have sent me to school beaten. I could go happy, or sad...It was my choice. My mom was the same.

The bad thing is, these days you have to be careful even doing that. My youngest son told his teacher one day that he had gotten a spanking the night before. His teacher's response was that violence was no way to get somebody to do what you want them to do. Yea, we had quite a conversation with her after that.

Teachers and parents don't back each other up anymore.
