Following is the winning entry from an annual contest calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.

This year's term: Political correctness.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Definitely true.

And, speaking as a nurse, none of the turds I ever met had a clean end. Of course, I haven't seen EVERYTHING yet, but .......

Way too true! Bad enought to have to deal with it in the media, schools, workplace, etc., but the mainline denominations are just as bad.
