Went down the coast to the motorcycle museum in Port Orford, Oregon. It is owned/run by Stan Dishong, an oldtimer who has done it all. He built drag bikes, ran at Bonneville, owned a Harley dealership in Vallejo, CA,
and built and sold custom chopper parts. Along the way he picked up an incredible collection of bikes. He walked me around and told stories for 2 hours. The museum is open Fri-Mon. 10-5 and wellworth the $5 admission. He is winding down and thinking about auctioning off his collection, so you better make it soon if you can.
1965 Harley Drag Motor. Set 127 mph record in 1965. Stan machined his own cylinders, flywheels and fins.
1914 Indian 8 valve Boardtrack Racer.
1929 From Steve McQueen Estate.
1934 Brough
1934 Ariel Square 4
