Hi, my name is Mike and I'm a Farkleholic...I've come to Farkle Anonymous at the gentle prodding of my family and friends

I will attend all monthly meetings here at Farkles Anonymous

I will daily ask my higher power for help with my addiction

I will no longer visit dealerships, ebay, or internet stores

I will cancel my motorcycle magazines, journals, and my AMA membership

If tempted, I will call my sponsor RadioHowie for help and advice

My name is Mike, and I'm a Farkleholic

======================================================

Important to me for comfort is a Sargent Seat, Airhawk Air Pad, Wild Bill Highway Pegs, Cal Sci Windshield, and for safety/paint protection, a tank protector & R&G Sliders. There are grip puppies and throttlemeister and a Superbrace. To help power the electricals, the bike has a Eastern Beaver fuse block.

There are stacked two sets of risers to bring the bars up, back, and spread out 10 degrees from stock

Ok, from left to right:

FZ1 mirrors with MaxView Blind spot mirrors

Audiovox Cruise Control Pad

J&M CB radio with MP3 plugged in and weather radio and passenger intercom...J&M headset with two speakers

Zumo 550 GPS with bluetooth...talks directions and also can receive and make cell phone calls...speaker in left ear

Datel Voltmeter

clip on drink insulator

black switches are three way for front and rear hyperwhites...run front ones solid all the time...leave the rear off

during PGR (Patriot Guard Riders) funeral escorts, click the switches to flashing and white leds act as strobes front and back

RAM cupholder

there's a two way switch switching between separate horn buttons or hit either horn button and both horns blow

this is Stebel Air Horn on TOG (tip over guard) and Fiamm disc horns replacing stock horns

there's a two way switch either hooking up the front hyperwhite to the headlight relay so it's only on

with the engine running like the headlight, or it's on unswitched power. I can use it for emergency flashers without

the key in

12 volt cig light plug cluster - MP3 charger, 2 minature led flashlights charge

mode

Powerlet plugs in black panel - one switched with key powering up GPS, CB,

and Radar Detector

other plug always on to plug in battery tender

Switch with led indicator velcroed to side of front brake master cylinder - turns on off front Lazer Light bullet fork lights

Thermometer

Adaptiv Radar Detector with triple led visual warning on dash and wireless

audio-speaker in right ear

this unit velcros with industrial strength product to top of the front brake

master cylinder...found the cord would

unplug itself intermittently, so rubber band is a keeper on the cord pulling

it toward the unit at the plug

Explanation:

I used to fly these many moons ago chasing Rusky subs:

Hey Thats a P3 Orion! That is too cool, btw, what did you just drop?(Bombay doors are open!), Nice Missles!, dr

Excuse me, but I'm new around here. Are you guys serious about keeping your bike 'bone stock'? Or maybe am I just missing some 'playful sarcasm' here? I personally think the OP's bike project is awesome and well done. Jeez - I hope you don't chase guys like this away.
It not the chasing you should be worried about....it's what they do to you when they catch you! ;)

(Any posts on Friday is free game for the peanut gallery!)

Well nobody still answered my question, What was being dropped outta that P3 Orion because the bomb bay doors were open and it looked like he was high tailing it out of the forest where he spotted an enemy sub lurking in the tree's. Didnt know an Orion can make a 6G turn like that. Just curious. DR

Lockheed_P-3_Orion_035.jpg

not sure how to comment as a main runway at NAS New Orleans out in the boondocks of Belle Chase, LA points out over the wetlands/swamps

now takeoff with the inner ordinance doors open is a no no...

that's not a 6G turn...3G was plenty...had to be careful with the rudder when close to 45 degree bank

bombay doors for me would be torpedoes, but included the possibility of debt charges, mines, and nukes.

the holes in the aft bottom of the fuselage are sonobuoy chutes

and the compliment of (external) missles you see are harpoons...anti ship (anti surface)

Are you serious?

Haven't you read the forum from beginning to end? What sort of silliness is this?

We all love our FJR's exactly the way MommaYamma designed them, and we keep 'em all bone stock. There is no need for customization except for the weak spirited mamby pamby boys that can't stand a little hearty butt pain, or those stick-like guys taller than 4'12" whose heads stick up so far they get buffeted around.

Real hard core FJR riders keep their bikes stock, and you should too!

PS - You have just been dog-piled on a Friday, as is the tradition. Welcome to the forum

Anyone need me to refresh their drink?

I am serious

i agree that hard core FJR riders don't custom their FJR bikes, since they ride daily + never wash & take care of their bike because of their hard core style. But the passion FJR riders does ;) like me :yahoo:

Crap, you posted the thread on a friday and I missed it.

By "passion" I assume you mean "gay"... (not that there is anything wrong with that)

Sorry, chrome on a sport bike is gay. Just saying...

KM

To the Op: I like what you did to the bike, it looks really nice and I appreciate the work you had to put into it. Don't let the dogpile get you down, this forum is a nest of farklemeisters, hell some of these people have made so many changes and additions to their bikes, I sometimes wonder why they bought the FJR in the first place. <_< By the way, I have the most unique bike on this forum, it's completely stock, I haven't changed or added one thing to it....yet.

Hope the passion FJR riders respect my work on the FJR :D

This pictures is old, never got the time again to take more pictures of how the bike looks now etc, the seats are now red were the silver is, + two brother pipes + DLC filter + power commander. Still waiting for the tint screen  but i will post them soon :D

So....if you have all that time to make the 'shiney' parts shine....when do you find the time to ride? Just a silly girl here, perhaps I missed the whole point of having an awesome rocket between my legs!

Where did you get the chrome wheels from?

It's the standard FJR wheels, i've polished it up to look like that. It's not chrome  BTW ... You can't chrome the FJR wheels, there is something inside the material that will show yellowish spots if you chrome it, I've tested an small part to see if chrome work, it simple don't so i polished all up.
