Powerlet and what to buy?

I'm a noob at this stuff. What do i need to buy from the powerlet website to run my GPS and radar detector.

A Termin-8 and powersocket? I'm just confused.

Discussed many times by searching on the word Powerlet and often suggested to call Jeff at Bike Effects for help and a forum discount. Just ordered an extra set as backup for the two I have.
