Sheesh, I have been absent for some time. I suppose there are dozens of threads on this topic.

I just did a silly thing. I sold my '05.

Oh, in case I run across a new one have many of you found much difference in the two?

I will be bikeless when the new owner comes to pick this up. I don't like it. Two weeks ago I sold my ZRX.

Just wondering for those of you who have had both, have you found much difference?

There's a model comparison chart here.

Newer bikes have ABS standard, and the AE auto-clutch is an option. Gen-II bikes are apparently much tighter inside the nose cowl. Bulb changes on the headlights are a bit more difficult. For those guys who want to add HID lights, they need the smallest possible ballast. Gen-II has adjustable handlebars and seat height.

I'd probably be hard pressed to tell the difference by riding. Same motor, newer bikes have a slighly longer swing arm, blah blah blah.

Just go get another one and ride!

Yeah thanks, numbers are numbers. I can get those. Actually I was wondering for those who have had both what are the SOP impressions when riding both. I take it there isn't much difference.
