I'm off 8/17 thru 8/30 and am looking to ride any of those days. I live in the Folsom/Placerville area.

Post up if you want to ride. I'll go anywhere EXCEPT Yosemite Valley.

I'm throwing out ideas here. Want to try Wentworth/Icehouse/Salmon Falls the 29th or 30th? You probably know those roads better than I but the few times I've been up there was great! Or I could get on the stick and put a route together for the GTM and we could pre-ride it together?

I'm down for anything one of those two days, you call it.

I can't go on the 29/30. Uber, Can U go sometime next week like the 22-23-24th? Uber, I was hoping you knew some GT roads over in your area. I ride Wentworth/Icehouse/Salmon Falls at least once a week, but it is still a lovely ride, but not exactly what I would call goat trails.

26th was the PGR ride...so I'll be doing that then...in terms of goat trails...just post dates and I'll try to make them!

Meet in Jackson and go Hoffman St to Stoneybrook to Pardee Dam Rd to Campo Seco Rd to Paloma Rd to Hwy 26 to Jesus Maria to Rail Road Flat Rd to Sheep Ranch Rd to Murphys Grade Rd to Hwy 49 to Hwy 4 to Pool Station Rd to Hwy 49 to Mtn Ranch Rd to Rail Road Flat Rd to Hwy 26 to Defender Grade to Hwy 88- to Volcano-Pioneer rd to Pine Grove-Volcano Rd to Charleston Rd to Shake Ridge Rd to Hale Rd to Fiddletown Rd to Hwy 49 in Plymouth. Stop for lunch when we're hungry and break when we're tired.

I think this is the Goat Trail Madness but only about 40% is "goaty", almost all of it is twisty. I do need to ride this to see how these roads go together. Want to try this this weekend?

Perfecto: This is the Sunday 8/20 ride that is just what I'm lookin for. I have heard of a some of these roads you are talking about, but have never been there. Meet where? in Jackson at what time? Do you have a Garmin GPS and can you send me the "program"? What do we do if we get seperated? Do you have any walkie Talkies sinec cell phones don't work up there? I'm very much looking forward to this.

No GPS, old school baby, yak at the intersections. We won't loose each other, unless I fling myself off a cliff, in that case just retreat in reverse order .This is what I can come up with my limited abilities.

Uber, Thanks for leading the ride. You promised goat trails and we got some VERY challenging roads. Today was the first time since I've owned my '05 (13 months) that I have dragged a right peg, without even trying. The left one dragged a few times also, but I'm getting used to that. Sorry, no pics taken on this trip

Maybe I'm just a twisted puppy but I love that stuff! Where else can you get so many low speed connected turns? I had us around 130 miles but I think the opinion was that it was plenty. Maybe we can ride it backwards for GTM.
