Drove down to Buckeye Az last nite to pick up a 2 year old toy fox terrier. She hopefully will make a good rider, these guys were breed to ride in a saddlebag on a horse on hunting trips. Got her from a non-profit rescue org, she was to be executed 5 days ago, so now she's gonna be ride'n an FJR instead! ( I hope)

Duchess is lucky to have such a devoted owner.

I still miss reading of Duke's adventures.

I an sure that Duchess will be a great co-rider.

Best regards

Surly

Finding a rescue dog, good on you Mark. I doubt you will have any rodents near the bike as those Terrier's are good hunters.

Great name choice.

Congrats, and kudos for giving her a home, and a place in your heart. I knew you wouldn't stay dog-less for long! Dogs are so cool, and they give so much to us.

I adopted this guy about six weeks ago, after losing my Sam to bone cancer:

His name is Zepplin, and he's a bit too large to ride in the saddlebag -- so he's jealous of Duchess! He says to give her a hello, 'Woof!', and a big doggy kiss!

Marcus, you're an awesome guy. Duchess went from the brink of death to preparing to have one of the best adventures any dog alive could hope for.

Can't wait to meet her!!

Congratulations Marcus!!
