Connie-14. :( :yahoo: [i have mixed feelings.]

He picked it up this weekend for $13.7 out the door. The benefit for me is that for a song he's offering me two pristine '05 saddlebags, two stock cans, header, 02 sensor, and a passel of oil filters.

He's gonna let me ride the Connie some day, not that I want to or anything....

A song? What kinda song? Rap, heavy metal, disco? Inquiring minds want to know.

Do it before it's 85 deg outside, that is if you don't want a roasted right leg. :p

:clapping: Congratulations to him! :yahoo: I hope he loves that bike as much as we love our FJRs.

Aaannndddd... :clapping: Congratulations to you on scoring the good parts taken off his FJR. And for a $$$ savings, too! :yahoo:

That's not the dark side. Just a different flavor of what we're having.

I thought you meant a, well, and I was gonna suggest you get a second opinion on traumatic brain injury.

Tell us about his opinion of the new Connie.

No, not a Hardley-Davidson. I went over there tonight to pick up my loot, and it was pouring rain, dark, windy. The brand new Connie with 40 miles on it was sitting exposed in the driveway in the pouring rain, since Primate has no garage.

Nice f**kin' bike, no question. I frankly don't think it fits me, having sat on a couple. But he's gonna let me ride it some day.

Different ride, same guy in the wind.. It really does not matter to me...

Ride, just ride.

gunny that!

But don't try and pry my FJR away from me... :assassin: ...can't be done.

I have too much fun on this thing...it does everything for me that I want out of a Tourer Sportstourer. :yahoo:

One of my best friends just sold a HD and is waiting for his R1200GT. Each to his own, I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want the FJR. But then again, I don't understand the fascination for Toyotas either.

If Toyota made motorcycles, I might not own an FJR.

+1 on the Toyotas.

Got my first Celica in '77 (a 72 with 150k miles, $200.00), took it to 250k, sold it to a lady friend (same $200.00) who pushed it near 400k until the differential gave way.

I've had GM, Ford, Dodge, VW, Datsun/Nissan, and there isn't anything like my Toyota (currently a '01 Solara).
