First off, I did a search, but our search engine won't allow me to search for "Ink" so I used "Printer" and didn't get any results.

We have three printers at our house, an older HP laser 4000 for black and white stuff, an HP Photosmart printer and a Canon Pixma printer/scanner/copier.

Ink isn't cheap. I'd like to know where to buy cartridges three or four at a time for cheaper than Office Max/Depot costs. I prefer OEM simply because I tried different once and the think leaked destroying my old printer. However, having said that, if any of you have repeated success with a specific location/brand of non-OEM replacements, I'm open to hear it.

TIA,

carrot ink

worked great in epson 500,880c both dead now and an all in one HP 500

I did not have any luck with refilling the HP myself, but the epsons were easy to refill 4=5 times for $10

With both the old HP printer and my new Canon combo unit, Cartridge World has come through. Savings amount to approximately 50%. I will say though that the refills work OK for normal printing...If you're looking for photo quality, cough up the bucks for OEM.

Hey Ponyfool, have you tried Fry's out it Wilsonville? They seem to have good prices and lots of secondary brands for cheaper yet.

Yes, I do go to Fry's....frequently. I just never seem to remember to get ink when I'm there. Plus, they don't have multi-packs of the ink I need, so it isn't that cheap.

Pony try tiger.com out of Canada and then there is one from the phone company I think it is at&t the have a store weekend rider :D
