I apologize in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I couldn't figure out a better place to put this.

I've been on the mailing list for Lee Parks' Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic for some time now, looking for a class in the midwest on dates I can attend. Lee recently announced a class for May in Chicago--*after* it had filled at a Chicago motorcycle show. I wrote him asking if there were going to be any additional classes earlier in the year, as his next midwest classes are on dates I'm going to be on motorcycle trips; he wrote back indicating that they MAY add other dates this summer, though nothing is definite yet. He also indicated that he does private classes for up to 3 riders for $1500, and these can be set at any time. I have a buddy in Wisconsin who definitely wants to do this, and we would then need one more rider to bring the per rider cost down to $500 per person.

If anyone is interested in joining in, PM me so we can discuss dates that work for all of us.

Thanks, and happy riding!

mindtrip, would the location for the private class be in Chicago?

I think the location can be anywhere, though I'd have to confirm that. My friend lives in Madison, WI, and I'm in St. Louis. If we can set it anywhere, I'm sure we could find a place convenient for everybody. I'll contact Lee about this.

Okay, just got word back from Lee. Turns out, we can do this class anywhere, it doesn't have to be Chicago. We can do it at a track, on local roads, or in a large parking lot. We have a track here in St. Louis (Gateway Speedway) that has both a track and a very large parking lot that they do amateur car racing on. That would work well for our purposes, and it's about halfway for both you and my friend in Madison. But like I said, we can do it anywhere, at any time. Interested?

Drew, I would very much like to attend a class with Lee, BUT, this is not the right time or place for me. Too much on the plate (for this season) already.

No problem Petey, I understand how busy life gets! Are you going to the Hooterville ride again this spring?
