Skooter has given me a warning so this is probably my last message. His patience is wearing thin, poor baby. Take a look at this topic. Isn't it absolutely crystal clear that at least two admins really don't give a rats *** about anyone's opinion but their own. Constructive criticism, what's that? All criticism is totally taboo. Do NOT disagree with them under any circumstance or they start attacking you. Skooter has accused me of veiled threats. If I make a threat, there isn't any freekin' veil. Besides I don't make threats. My advice is to use this forum for as long it is useful to you, and start looking for a better place. It's getting harder to justify boosting the ego's of some petty dictators.

The above is YOUR version of events, certainly not mine, and let's just say I wholeheartedly disagree with you.

You say I warned you. While I did caution you in private due to your tone and personal digs, check your warn meter there sport. You'll notice it's a '0' where it always has been, hence you have not been officially warned. So lighten up Frances. The fact that you are still here posting is proof positive that your assertion that "All criticism is taboo." is complete and utter ********. However, you do seem to be trying really hard to earn yourself a warning - I would be careful what you wish for.

You know, this really is getting quite old. Why don't we both agree to move on?

I am sure glad I leave for WFO in the morning. Reading this is making me crazy. In the guidelines it says you are a guest and are encouraged to ack like one. If that doesn't work for you then find a new playground and make your own rules. This isn't aimed at anyone in particular, If you don't like it here the door swings both ways.

...and food for thought...if we were the big, bad control freaks you make us out to be....we'd have whacked this thread or your last post before anybody saw it. But, notice how it's still here? It was far-enough off-topic that I moved it to it's own thread though.

Dudes. Chill out. Go ride. Come back later. This forum is not an official ANYTHING, and has no requirements to behave as such. It ain't your congressman's office, it ain't your pastor's house.

A lot of the guys know each other, have relationships IRL, so they speak to each other with that in mind. The community is in the world as well as online. Be aware of that. Also be aware that not knowing anybody personally (as I don't) does NOT make one an outsider. What makes one an outsider is imposing one's own expectations on the community.

I crossed a line a couple weeks ago, got a warn PM, saw what he meant and apologized. It wasn't hard. Really. It wasn't personal, either.

Don't get fired up and leave because of that thread. It was a healthy argument...and may spur some positive change. A lot of the reasons Im primarily a READER now as opposed to a contributor are in that thread.

That being said, its a great forum, I have learned a ton here...and enjoy reading it each day.

Having read the entire thread to which you refer, I find your reaction to it to be a bit "thin-skinned".

**** man let it go... I have to say I have had over the years here the rare argument or three but I have never been "warned" by any Admin or the owner on any subject period. And I am not one to piss in someone's pocket but I do know that these blokes are very approachable and give plenty of slack so all I can go on is what I have noticed since I have been here. Sprint my advise would be to let it go and sort it out privately if you cannot, agree to disagree and move off the subject, go for a ride or punch a bag etc...you'll feel much better.

Threads like this, also set everyone's defences on "alert", when they really needn't be. People then start to over analyze every response, and it just turns into a ***** fest.
Go jump on your bike...even give the forum a miss for a few days, then come back. All will/should be forgiven.
