I am not paid by the Gusset clothing company in any fashion.

I just received my first pair of Diamond Gusset jeans to try out. I've been wearing Levi's silver tabs since I was in high school (not the same pair!), but they have kept getting thinner and more expensive with each new pair I bought.

I have a VERY hard time finding jeans which are a good fit for me. After visiting every local store, and not having any success, I decided to look elsewhere.

I wanted motorcycle specific jeans, but very few companies make them in my size, and even fewer still offer a baggy fit (which I just about HAVE to have). I'd seen an ads for Diamond Gusset Jeans in some of the motorcycle mags, so I figured I would give them a try.

WOW! :yahoo: :yahoo: I've got a new pair of favorite jeans, and they haven't even been washed yet!

I didn't get their kevlar lined jeans, as I wanted to make sure the regular ones fit first. I ordered my normal size, and they went right on, a perfect fit with just enough room to tighten up in the first few washes. Initial quality is on par if not higher than the typical jean brands.

I'm about to order a few more pair now that I've been sold!

 You won't believe how nice the difference is. Words simply can't describe. This is how jeans should have been made from the beginning.

Almost forgot to mention. These are 100% made in the USA. Continental even!

Well I'm going to give 'em a try! I just ordered a pair based on your review, so if I don't like 'em, you owe me 50 bucks! lol. Yeah, like you I've been wearing Levi's forever and they just seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper as the yrs. go by! Time to break out!

No women's Kevlar? Maybe some more flattering apparel would help get Eve back on the bike, but it still needs to have a safety factor. I guess I'll have to go with leather.

I'm currently in some Calvin Klein jeans that are pretty comfortable and fit well, but aren't for asphalt surfing.

IIRC, less than $30 at Costco.

I sometimes ware Carhart logger jeans. They have a double layer of 14oz. denim on the knees and are heavy duty stitched. Very comfortable. About $40. I'm sure Gussets are much better with the kevlar.

Been using Diamond Gussett for years. No complaints. Never saw them priced for anything near $100. Usually about the same proice as Wrangler or Levi.

The $100 price is for the new kevlar-lined motorcycle jeans.

"better than jeans" is ok... UNLESS the lady you're buying them for is bigger than a size 16, which may be sized more like a 14 in leather...

Check out Fox Creek Leather...

they have some pretty good stuff...

I've been looking at Icon Hooligan jeans - anybody have any experience with them?https://www.mawonline.com/icon.htm#Pants%20textile ------ $95.00
I've got a pair of ladies Icon jeans... not sure which ones, articulated knees, they fit pretty good and are pretty heavy, heavier than any other denim (I have black) I've seen, not quite as heavy as my chaps, tho.

I really like them, especially since chaps seem kinda stupid on the Feejr...<G>

I just received my Diamond Gusset Kevlar jeans. They fit really well. Pricey at $110.00 but, if they can help save my hide even one time, they are worth every penny. I usually ride in more bulky, heavily armored pants but was looking for a somewhat lighter alternative. These look like a good compromise.

You guys should check out Aerostich Riderwear.

The latest Rider Wearhouse Catalog has Arborwear Gusseted Canvas Pants.

$57.00 or $77.00 w/TF2 Knee Pads.

This particular brand has velcro openings at the knee that are designed for knee pad inserts.

They also have a handy cell phone pocket on the right leg.

Very comfertable and durable 12oz. canvas.

I have been wearing these for about 2 years now and highly recommend them, you wont be disapointed.
