Approaching 75k miles on my 06. It has power commander with custom map, K&N air filter, traxxion suspension, original everything else (plugs changed, oil, filters changed). What should I start looking for parts wise (CCT, battery) for my 75k maintenace. Bike runs outstanding and really hate to mess with it.. You know if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of thing. But I am looking to do a long distance ride, a pre Alaska ride, if it works out and don't want to be stranded because I did not take care of my bike. Thanks in advance. PS After Jeff's comments about the k&n I have been thinking of going stock but don't how that will effect the mapping. Exhaust is stock.

Thanks guys. What are PAIRS, ground spiders and is there a good source for buying the needed parts, ie cct, headlight bulbs, stock air filter, battery from one source or do I need to go shopping. Just a guess on my part but it looks like this will cost about a grand including all the parts. Does that sound right?

PAIR system is the Air Induction System.

GROUND SPIDERS are the 6-pin connectors used to link various ground wires together at eight(8) different points along the wiring harnesses.

Your shopping list is probably too comprehensive to obtain from one source economically.

If you are paying a dealer to do all the work, more like $1,500.

You could worse than get your parts from Zanotti's in PA. Lot's of us Aussie's have got together & 'group buy' parts from them. Their service & communication is good & they have the lowest prices I've seen on the net.

If you had the last valve check done right, this one will most likely be just gap checking. I'd think about a fork oil change (& maybe seals depending on when last checked).

IMHO, I'd be doing most of it myself as that way, you know it's been done properly when you're in the middle of nowhere, or Alaska !!
