I like it. Well dressed young lady. OM wouldn't think so.

Cool pic. I'm jealous of the 'off road' armor versus the 'on road' armor I'm compelled to wear. More of that kind would lead to less of our kind due to much increased respect on road.

I hate this whole thread. Since Mrs. Redfish is much closer in size, smell, weight, and appearance to the animal under the saddle than the animal on the saddle, I am pissed off by the entire thing.

Although I am a bit curious about her firearms...

Here is my first 2 thoughts:

1- I wanna see the horse's feet.

2- She doesn't have a hold of the horse's reins.... that's kinda risky.

lol. damn the female farrier.

otherwise, not bad.

Meh, I'm a Motoport guy myself, but I can't seem to get comfortable with a shoulder holster in the damn stuff. Off to study the pic for inspiration...

Oh, and she needs to clean her boots...ewww...

Study the photo again...especially how the rifle is slung behind her...here's what happens seconds later...

She swings up into the saddle, the muzzle of the firearm dangling off her back slaps the hindquarters of the horse, causing him to leap forward. The sudden acceleration takes her by surprise and she falls off backwards behind the horse....landing *** first....with the barrel of the gun hitting first, slamming the butt of the rifle into the back of her head, fracturing her skull......

Lesson? Wear a helmet when you ride.....

Haha...Actually, getting on a horse with a rifle slung like that is a *****. The rifle catches and won't let the rider swing their right leg over, so then they are stuck, standing in the stirrups trying to unfuck the rifle. THEN they fall and break their skull. Lol.

When I ride like that, I either sling the rifle in front or on my left. After I'm on the horse, I'll move it to where I want it. The BEST option is a rifle scabbard on the right side, but I don't have one that will fit an AR. My .308 rides great like that all day and is easily accessible.

Wouldn't it make more sense to hang the rifle over the saddle horn on the right side, first, BEFORE mounting from the left?

Otherwise it looks like she might slip and shoot either the horse or herself in the ***!!!

Just wonderin......
