:yahoo: greetings from idaho. i introduced myself a couple of weeks ago and besides already knowing a fjr was the bike i wanted, this forum helped seal the deal. it all came together and the best bike i found was in carson city, nevada. my friend happened to be headed that way.......the bike is perfect! so meticulously cared for, broken in and ready to go. a nice sargent seat, backrest, new stock tires, and a y.e.s. 3 year warranty left. so the first evening i hopped on and rode 70 miles till dark, a smile plastered on. the next morning i awoke and rode the 500 miles home. WHAT A BIKE! only hit a few scatted rain drops, and when i pulled it into my shop at home, the heavens broke loose. it was a window of opportunity to say the least. my only regret is that it close to the end of the season  anyway, one week, and 680 miles later, i am one happy new fjr owner! just had to share jerome

Congrats Jerome.

Riding season almost over? Only if there's snow/ice on the ground!

Get yourself some good warm and dry outer gear and/or some electric underclothes and keep on having fun.

I plan on riding all winter here in Virginia Beach/Norfolk, we usually don't get snow/ice.

Excellent score, jerome, good on ya! B)

Idaho is one of several venues being looked at for next summer's Western FJR Owner's gathering, so you might be a short ride if Idaho gets the nod.

Check out the WFO sub-forum to look at past WFO events....

I'm in New York City & I ride ALL YEAR as long as there is no snow or ice.

Many safe miles may you & your FJR enjoy together!

Congrats Jerome!

You will love the bike, and you live in a great area for riding.

I lived in Ketchum for a while and nothing beats the SawTooths for fun.

I would definately nominate Sun Valley for next years WFO!
