Thank you for the help.

I've searched through various word strings on this topic without luck.

I am looking for pictures of how someone may have integrated a PTT switch into the left handlebar multifuntion unit.

I use autocom system; have not purchased the radio yet.

Other mounting suggestions (for the PTT switch) will also be appreciated.

thanks

I use one that has a velcro strip as part of the switch and just wrap it around the left hand grip.

Clicky A pic of how someone mounted theres. I've seen one once (can't find it now) where someone drilled and mounted a momentary push button switch to the back side of the headlight switch housing. I'd think the linked one would be a better alternative tho.

Ditto........

It does move your hand out on the grip a bit though.

I have mine mounted on the grip. Skyway has a weatherproof instant switch wired into the control bezel where the "flash to pass" switch would be.

Black Silicone Adhesive to the backside. Hold it in place with a rubber band overnight while it cures. Easy to remove if service is needed, otherwise it stays put.

Here's what that switch looks like mounted, Radio Shack for around $3-$5. The neat thing about the Autocom design is that everything is in place to add this farkle without any major tampering with the original PTT switch. There are 2 unused posts on the circuit board for soldering the wires, and the plastic housing has a small hole in it to feed out 2 small wires to the switch you see in the photo.
