Stoner breaks lap record by a full second after only 14 laps. Toseland 2nd. fastest but a full 2 seconds down riding with a sprained ankle.

This is looking good for Tose, can't help but hold my breath. Looks like Edwards has got a wiggle on as well.

Haven't you been warned about starting threads not

pertaining to the FJR????????

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Guessing we'll be seeing multiple reports as the night goes on. This shows Dovizioso 1.1 sec behind.
Interesting stuff, nice to see some different names up there.

That wasn't too long....welcome back!

Do you think the FJR could be modified to run with the big boys? Now it is an FJR thread........ fixed it for ya.

It's interesting how the press is spinning all sorts of lap records nowdays.

See, Stoner is under the RACE lap record, not the motorcycle track record. Rossi did a superpole qualifier last year that was quicker than the race lap record.

So, now that the media is spinning this, we're gonna have to be really careful about understanding what they're telling us. I was thinkin' Stoner had gone out and was more than a second under the absolute lap record. That would have been miraculous. (And would have been a bad way to start the season.)

Sorry for the dumb question, but I haven't been following very closely yet. Which Honda team does Dovizioso ride for?
1 rider team - JiR Team Scot

He's a former 125 champ

It's the former Konica Minolta Honda team

Still, sounds like Stoner hasn't missed much practice in the off season. He is on his game really and one to keep your eye on again this year for sure....I'm really waiting to see what Honda Respol has done to improve the problems they were having last year and hopefully Nicky will do a come back. Keeping my fingers crossed. PM. <><
