Question of Color for '08 & '09 AE

Being a novice on FJR specifics I have a simple question regarding the AE models of '08 and '09. Are these two the same color?? Appears that way to me even though I've never had the chance to compare bikes side by side in person.

Bowtie, the '08 & '09AE is this best looking color if you ask me. But then again, so is mine. I'm glad Yamaha decided to set the AE's apart and give them their own colors.

OK Ignacio, see now they are both called Metallic Titanium. Why I questioned the color is I've seen them listed differently in various places and needed the conformation.

Then you should provide links to those sources please.

Things are not definitive because they're on the internet somewhere....or in my spreadsheet for that matter. Nor are they proof if somebody else answers differently after this post and it's the last thing posted. What helps though is building consensus on things like this and I *believe* the matrix represents the product of many, Many, MANY other threads and sources on this subject.

Great matrix, Ignacio. I notice the weight on '09 AE was increased to 650lbs from 582lbs of '06. That is 68lbs difference! What makes '09 heavier?

Reread the matrix! There's Ω symbol beside each corresponding weight and note on the right for this exact purpose.

Sources I have seen color mentioned are "for sale" ads in various avenues. Mentioned bikes are called Silver and Grey mostly. That's why I have ask here.

My '09 "Titanium Metallic" schootar...

It's been called "black" by some, depending on the sky I guess (weird but kool color!)

I own an 08 & 09 AE the only difference is the color of the luggage rack the 09 went back to a silver color.

Which windshield is this that you have on your 09. Being 6'4 I need this one. Looks a lot bigger than the stock shield I am running..

I'm 6-4 as well, hence the... Cee Bailey's 26" factory dark tinted shield.

This in the "almost up" position (in combination) with the Schuberth C3-Pro = No noise, No wind maybe upto ~80mph.

Best of all... No earplugs required
