A French dude on one of the Hayabusa forums has this ginormous 1.2MB .gif in his signature, and I never really studied it closely before, but DAYUMN, I'm pretty sure I won't be trying this on my K8 anytime soon!

Pretty sure this is from a marketing video, 'cuz I can't see many new K8 buyers trying this on their own new 'Busa....

Pretty serious sliding on a 570lb hyper-bike.....

Wow, takes some doing eh? My bet is it's Randy Mamola, it looks like his helmet and the Eurosport logo is in the corner. He comentates on the GP's for them. I have a pic somewhere (prolly lifted from this forum) of him doing a burnout on an FJR.

From the marks on the road it looks like he'd been practicing for a while...
definately! that is certianly 2 different runs, the second he brings the bike more upright. Looks like fun if you can afford the consequences :)

Nice, looks like a highside waiting to happen tho'.
Highside = OWIEE! Trusts me on this, I distinctly remember getting smacked on the ground HARD and seeing my Ninja carving an elegant arc to set its trajectory right on top of me.

Warchild, I'll talk to Jody and Trillium to see if they wanna run their 'busa (s) heads up for yours. Trillium holds the North American Ladies Top Speed record on Jody's Turbo/Nitrous 'busa. She's a sweet little thing, meek as can be, but I'm guessing she could use a nice shiny new K8 :D

(I'm still in awe that she was able to hold on at that speed)

I see Jody regularly on the Busa forums.

Here is Trillium on Brock's '08 Busa when she was doing her speed runs at Maxton this past summer:

Here she is being inducted into the prestigious 200mph club at Maxton:

I met her last year at a bike shop here in New Glasgow Nova Scotia. Her boyfriend intoduced her as the world's fasted woman. A hell of a hand shake from such a little lady. They were on tour on a couple of Busas.

I guess now would be a good time to point out were just acquaintances, know each other when we see each other kind of thing. Good peeps though. I think they have 3 busa's in their stables right now.

I have personally seen Jody loft the front wheel at about 150mph on the race bike and just hold it there for *****'n giggles..

Yup, apparently Trillium has been making appearances at bikes shows 'n such. Hey, might as well milk it if you can. Ya, I imagine Trillium could lay a world of hurt on an a guy given her line of work.

You ought to check out "you tube" for Rossi. he does this drifting on his Moto GP at race speed hanging it all out, pretty awesome.

That's certainly an intimate knowledge of how far to take it and how to bring it back (i.e. not slamming the throttle shut!)

Sadly, I saw a squid doing this on the street a few weeks ago. Long swing-arm, sneakers, shorts, t-shirt, bare-headed, came onto my street from a side street, made a left turn all sideways through the whole thing, took off down the road about at 70+ in a 45.

There's skillz (as above), and there's just plain dumb.

Speaking of 200mph Blondes, this is Jenny Tinmouth who rides in the BSB. She has her own 125 and had a one off ride on a Rizla superbike last year. She is hoping to run in the Supersports this year.
