Treated myself to a new Nolan N102 VPS helmet today. Merry Christmas to me!

Also sat on a new cobalt blue Yamaha Venture. Wow! Nice machine.

For you folks who wear leathers: For summer use, would vented perforated leather pants be better than unvented? I'm looking at the new Joe Rocket Blaster 2.0 leather pants (I have a Joe Rocket Comet jacket). I have wet weather gear.

Appreciate the help.

I have a set of leather First Gear Sport Tour Overpants and a perforated leather pair for the Summer. There's a big difference. Even when it get "too hot" for a leather jacket, I find that the perforated leather pants are comfortable enough to wear with a mesh jacket. BTW, the overpants are worn over pants (or shorts I guess).

Sorry, but around here we define Summer as 95F and 98% humidity. Ain't no stinkin' leather, perforated or air-conditioned, going to suffice.

The perf leather products I have tried are reasonably comfy up to 85F.

Amen to that and Textiles!

Thanks all. I think I'll opt for the perforated leather. I'm trying to think of all the stuff I'll need for WFO 6.

Ride safe.
