The boot post from a couple of weeks ago got me thinking about my boots and the up coming riding season. Years ago (15?) I bought a pair of the Corbin Road Master's when they first came out. They are great boots and they fit my 13 D's perfectly. Last season I had them resoled as they had been ground down a bit on the toes from starting and stopping foot drags. The uppers are in good shape, but I was not completely happy with the job the repair shop did.

Since shoe repair shops are almost impossible to find, I figured I needed to get a new pair of boots soon. I had been considering a pair of the Tour Masters but the Boy Racer look reminded me of some old Frank Thomas boots that I was less than happy with.

Thanks to the internet I found this place: shoerepaircenter.com

If you are an old fart like me, you might want to check them out. The price is right and the quality is outstanding.

Ride safe.
