I remember seeing a story about a replacement rear rack that was both larger that the stock rack, able to have straps atttached for securing luggage and have the stock top case attached. Anyone have any infor on such a rack?

 
garauld makes really nice units. He is a member check him out. I bought a used one for my Gen I & really like the way it is made

and how it works & looks on the bike.

 
Garauld has recently developed yet another upgrade. it uses the Givi system along with his original rack in concert to give a very strong, very roomy rack.

i have one of the first two ever built (actually the prototype) and it's fantastic. there is no better rack out there if you intend to carry much over 5 lbs on the rear.
