Rear Suspension (shock)

Hey folks,

Quick question, I purchased a 2015 used rear shock on ebay with 5k on it. Does anyone know where they stamp the model/part # on these shocks?

Just trying to confirm.

No idea about the stamping, but the part number should be 1MC-22210-10-00 which is the same on any 3rd Gen A model.

I have a Gen2 on the shelve downstairs. I will check and look for a number on it. Most like it would be stamped int the same place.

Edit: Ok so I pulled back the rubber boot and there were not any model numbers or any for that matter. The one thing I did have was a sticker underneath the spring which should be easily visible. The sticker had 2008 and a couple of number after that maybe month and day. This was the original shock that came out of my bike on the 08 FJR. It had 64K hellacious miles on it.
