Rear Trunk Attachment Kit (06-11)

I just picked up a top box, back rest and the trunk attachment kit for my '10 fjr. The attachment kit did not come with new bolts so does anyone know what size these bolts are suppose to be? I can make a guess based on the additional height and the old ones but if someone has the info, it would be appreciated.

Now to just locate a T-10 Torx safety bit for the lock. Why a safety bit for the inside of a lock? Seems strange.

Just happen to have mine off and easy to measure. Bolts are button head allen M8 X 65. I would go with SS so you don't have to worry about rust with all our liquid sunshine.

Do yourself a favor and ditch the security torx. Get some SS M3 phillips head of same length. Don't forget a dab of blue loctite on the threads.
