Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to remove a Corbin Ovalback backrest? Sargent also makes a removeable backrest, info on that would help also. I want to be able to put it on and off very quickly (1min or less) with no problems. I ride a 2005 FJR

There is one allen-head bolt holding on the pillion backrest on the Corbin seat. Can't speak for the Sargent, but the Corbin is pretty easy. The rest itself is pretty big and you would need to stow it somewhere if you took it off while on the road. But in your garage, no problem.

Or just leave the bolt out. It won't "fall" out, but is susceptible to theft. If parked for the night, just pull it out.
