Removing decal from windscreen?

Time to take the extra tall CalSci shield off and go back to the Yammy (tall) shield for the summer.

The Yamaha shield has a "Yamaha" decal on it, on the inside, black letters. I want it off (ugly) and have tried soaking it, blasting with heatgun, and so far no luck removing it.

I hesitate to use any solvents, since the shield is plexiglass or acrylic of some type. Any ideas? Thx!

Take it from me... do not use anything! I am the proud new owner of a replacement stock windshield, which does not have the stickers. The downside was paying $200 for a replacement stock windshield.
