So, I've used search.. I've googled outside of this forum, and I've searched my Factory Service Manual.

Can anyone provide instructions/links on how to reinstall OEM parts for the Bar Ends. My throttlemeister refuses to hold for more than few seconds at a time, then starts slipping. Are they as simple as slipping in the OEM innards, and with some type of glue to keep them there. I know they'd be tough to get in so they'd be tougher to fall out I guess??

oops I might have found something now... trick is to use the word "Reinstall" rather than Replace..

Any reason you don't want to/cannot re-set the throttlemeister? AFAIK, all that is necessary is to loosen off the throttlemeister bolt, push it into the bar a bit more, and then re-tighten.

I recently installed a throttlemeister on my ride, and iirc, it was a bit tricky to get it set up correctly, but after a few attempts it works fine.

I'm not sure how the FJR1300 one works, but the ones I've messed with on other bikes come with various spacer washers to set the adjustment. Keep swapping the washers until you get an adjust that works fine for you. Also note that thermal expansion may change how tight the Throttlemeister holds the throttle grip. The adjustment may seem fine in your garage, but too tight when the heated grips are used out on the road.

Long story goes like this, Over the last 10k I have done everything. It just never seems to work. So I've read everything I can find and did everything suggested.

I recently installed BMW sport grips and Vstrom "knuckle" guards, and decided now was the time to fix the TM for good, or take it off.

Well I had finally given up until I found the reinstall instructions for the OEM ends.. One more try and voila, I think I may have gotten it.

Funny thing is the combination of the Rubber tube that gets added to the throttle tube as part of the TM and the VStrom guards covers the gap left on the throttle side by the shorter BMW grips pretty neatly.
