Dear fellow FJR riders.
After 20 years of pretty busy career in an international wholesales business I quit it this year to load my batteries and do something else for the change. So I have got a crazy idea of setting up a MC rental business here, especially because there is no specialized MC rentals today in Estonia at all. One of the reason for this is of course that the season is rather short, basically from May to June, but still. For the moment I am working on a business plan and I would appreciate your help in the following topics:
* do you or any of your friends have an experience in MC rentals and is willing to share the specifics of this business so that I could avoid doing some stupid mistakes and learn from the others instead (that's what they claim smart folks usually do
) If yes, please do not hesitate to PM me.
* Do you think there could be any potential travellers in the state where you live who are considering to visit Estonia and Baltics (EU, very close to Finland), and if this was not wild enough, also consider to explore the country on rented motorcycle?
* if the answer is positive, what type of bikes would be most popular (sportstourer, adventure, street, cruiser, etc?)
* and what would be the best marketing channels to reach these guys
And for sure this is also to invite you all to visit Estonia. We do not have any Alps or twisty roads, but we do have a very nice medieval old town in Tallinn, we have natural untouched forests and clean environment, beautiful sandy beaches, islands and lots of lakes, and not too many people around if you want to get some peace. And we do have roads, really ...
I also use the opportunity to thank Dr. Rich, Mcatrophy and Beemerdon for their kind help so far.
