I am planning to order a service manual for a 2010 FJR from Yamaha.

Yamaha wants to know if it is:

FJR13AZ or a FJR13AZCS.

I've looked here, online and Yamaha, but cannot figure out the difference.

My owner's manual calls it a FJR13AZ©

I ran into something similar when ordering for my 2012. But no matter which I chose their system came up with manuals with the same part number so I just ordered one of them.

I bet the one with a "C" in it is Canadian

The Z identifies the model year, 2010, and the C would identify it as a California model, which has the charcoal canister on the fuel tank vent hose. The S is a color code.

FJR13AZS is 49-state, FJR13AZCS is California.

I think that the 'C' is probably for California. Canada uses an 'S', at least in the owner's manual.

S is the color code. They started adding that in 09 or 10, don't recall exactly.

I had the same confusion when looking to order a manual. Looked at every label I could find on the bike for a hint but no luck. "C" must be California. Thanks to each of you.
