Replacement Grips

I need to replace my grips...any recommendations? My bike is fitted with a Throttlemeister (previous owner)...I assume to replace the grips all I need to do is remove the retention screw.

If you didn't like the stock grips...go to your local bike shop....they should be able to offer a variety of aftermarket styles....skinny to fat....from simple to blinge....its really whatever floats your boat...there your hands....& everyone is different

I don't like the feel, size, shape of the stock grips on my '06 either. Makes my hands tingle, numb and causes some pain. Others may differ.

I took some advice from folks who have had similar problems and bought a set of Grip Puppies (similar to Grip Tek). They're a somewhat dense foam slip overs that are about 4mm (+/-) thick. Installed them with soapy water and some elbow grease.

Took my first ride today.... 1.5 hours... and the ride was MUCH better than before. Normally, I get some tingling, then some numbness in a short period of time. Like 30 minutes.

The feeling was much better..... altho DIFFERENT with the larger grips. The foam is not soft.... pretty dense. I think it's an improvement over the stock grips and the price is pretty good, too. Like $7.50 from Cal Sport Touring and the Grip Tek were about $15 (+ S/H0) for 6.... which seems like a good deal.
