She was very intelligent, interested in everything and had a awesome out going personality. Also was already thinking about moving up to a larger bike even though she just started riding in March of this year.

May she go home in peace. Rest in peace Arpana.

Weird. Seems to be a crime wave around here. Life is short and can end in the blink of an eye. A pedistrian crossed a major road (rainer ave south) this evening and was mowed over by a fast moving car. It was raining hard and very dark. The driver never saw the woman.

Agreed. Wasn't it just last week that five 15-16 year old kids killed the Tuba Man? What the heck is going on around here? We've had more than our share of violence here lately.

How sad - I didn't know her but she sounds like a wonderful person. A fellow rider and tech worker. It's surreal to me that this happened in Redmond.

I was at the Bella Botega shopping area Monday after lunch and saw news helicopters circling overhead. I assume they were covering this.

This young lady was really popular with the PNWRider.com group. As the video describes, she was starting to feel at home with her motorcycle peers... I think it was a way to get out of her "techie" shell for a while.

Like the Tuba Man (as well as others taken away in such a brutal manner), Arpana had many friends who truly cared about her.

and FNG I have never seriously considered concealed carry, this kinda thing may make me reconsider. I do have an SW 40 M&P thats been beggin' to go for a ride.
