I know there have been several great reviews on the Rifle winshields but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. The fit and finish of the windshield are great just as others have stated. I got the +3" tall, +4" wide in the medium bronze tint. It looks good on the bike but, as others have mentioned, there is more of a gap at the bottom due to the angle optimizers. I don't think it looks too bad and I must say that the angle optimizers do really help. I took it out on my initial test ride on a county road maintaing a 70mph pace and played with positions. I am 6" 1" with a 33" inseam and at the lowest setting the wind was hitting me directly in my faceshield. A little more buffeting than the stock at lowest setting but very tolerable. I start moving it up and at about 3/4 of the way up, the airstream is just over the top of my helmet. It's getting very quiet with no noticeable back pressure. I am still looking about 2" over the top of the windshield, which is nice. I think this will be my preferred setting. When I move it all the way up it is really quiet and still no back pressure but now I'm looking about 1" over the top of the windshield and it's about at that annoying point of being almost in the line of sight. I keep it up all the way for several miles and it is really smooth and quiet but I really start noticing the heat. The air temp is indicating 76 and it's too hot for me. I'm riding in leather jacket with the vents closed. I lower it all the way and ride several miles to cool off. I ride for about 150 more miles, most of the time in the lowest position because the air temp is just above 80 now. It's pretty comfortable in the lowest position at this temperature but of course the stock windshield is cooler. I wouldn't want to ride in temperatures pushing 90+ with the Rifle. Overall, I am very pleased with the Rifle and will definitely use it for winter riding here in Texas but come about May, the stocker is going back on.
