Riding from Nova Scotia to Rhode Island to participate in a rally.....you guys are my hero's.

I ended up in 11th place with 472 miles and 24672 points. I managed to pick up the live lobster bonus but my newspapers got thrown out because I picked up the wrong editions. :glare:

I felt like I was running balls to the wall but the first place finisher ended up with 100 more miles than me and 15,000 more points. ....his ass is mine next time...

I kind of knew that I was out of my league when all the bikes were lined up and people started programming their 2 GPS's, setting up their 2 radar detectors, and checking their bolted on pick up truck alternators.

RHODY RALLY RESULTS

It was nice meeting you guys from up north. As Axe said, you are heros for traveling that far, and right back again. I scored second.... second from last that is. I hadn't made time to plan my route in advance to I scored about as well as I expected. I had a great time and learned a lot about rallying. Met some very nice people too. I hope to make it again next year.

Now that we did the Rhody on Mother's Day weekend, who's going to ride the in state NY SS1000 on June 16, Father's Day weekend? B)

Errr, emmm, this is Rhody, from R.I. I would be more than happy to assist you in planning your rally.

Please PM me or post what you would like to accomplish and we will take it from there....

:scenic:

I used to travel to Nova Scotia in the early 90's pretty country, wouldn't mind taking a tour up there sometime myself.

Sort of a reverse of what you had in mind.
