Is there any difference to the shape of the tank etc from the 06 to the 08? say if one wanter to put on some carbon overlays like a tank protector etc??? old mate at GCC said he's unaware of any changes to the shape of the tank or front fender?

All Gen 2 are the same shape and size as all Gen 1 are the same shape and size. Gen 1 and 2 capacity is the same, but shapes are different.
