I know it is early and stuff. But now you wont have any excuses of why you could not make it to the ride :) And if you still can't come out and play with kids( I mean us) :) you can click on the link in my sig and still make a donation.

Please mark the date on your calendar. As I have done in the past few years I will be helping setting this thing up. If you are interested buz me up and I will give you more info on what is involved. I hope that someone will organizes a meet and great before the event. So you can show up in a nice group settings. If you are interested I will have a plan to have a ride after wards.

Stay tunes. I am off to feed my youngest at the moment :)

Well, time is fast approaching, are you ready? Did you get your bike washed? Did you tell your wife that you can not celebrate her birthday with her this year because you have to go help out the little one :)

What ever the case is be there. This year ride will be hosted at Elgin Community College.

And if you want to do a bit more come join me in helping set up and run this event. There will be a meeting on Thursday 17th at 7pm that I am going to attend. let me know if you are interested and I will get you more info.

I hope to see all of you there. And do not forget about the link in my signature that you can use if you are chained to your desk and can't leave. :) Thank you to those who donated already.

Sorry I can't make it Alex, but I did send money instead. Good luck with your efforts to raise money to help kids with brain cancer. I know someone whose child went through that horror - it's a good cause.

Thank you Richard.

On the side note. Yesterday after kids were in bed, wife and I were enjoying nice evening when my cell rings. I pick it up and and some girls starts talking to me. And it is beginning to sounds like a sales call, but I decide to stick around.

It turns out that the girls is 23 years of age and is a survivor of a brain cancer when she was a kid and just called to thank me for the effort. I think I have made a fool out of my self on this call because I was mumbling things left and right. ****, I have never expected a call like this. And what a timing.

I asked her if she is coming to the ride, she said no, because she leaves in NC.

I have no idea how she got a hold of my number or why she picked me, I am not the biggest contributer by far. Later on I realized that she might have had a tear or two going down while talking to me, based on her voice.

I am just glad that what ever little I have done might have helped her and others like her. It is a great cause for sure. I just wish I could do more then what I am already doing for those kids.

I can't ride with you this year Alex but I have donated. Hopefully I will ride next year. Hope to see you at the Toys for Tots ride this year. Ride safe

Thank you Victor.

I have been doing Toys for Tots for the last 7 years as long as I can get out from my sub division :) snow can be nasty while you are on the bike. In those cases where I can't I take my kid and we go to the local PD to make a drop.
