Ride in Chicago

Sorry for late notice. Planing to hit downtown early morning for coffee and from there who knows. Possibly Lake Geneva via LSD/Sheridan or any other destination. Idea is to go and burn a tank of gas Planning to be home by noon leaving my home area around 7. Anyone interested post up.

Hearing still won't permit me to ride safely yet. Good luck and watch out for the potholes in evanston on the Nbound side of Sheridan after howard. I believe it's a 15 or 20 moh turn to the left, it's a bitch w/ those potholes in the ambulance(Ford F-350) on the bike they're damned near deadly if you don't expect them! I have no idea what Evanston does w/ all the taxes they get, certainly doesn't go towards the roads. And there used to be a real **** of a LEO near highland park, I can't remember the name of the cross street but when you go thru a "canyon" like area( rock walls w/ NO room to go anywhere) he used to wait for people right there! That'sthe best I can do for ya there.

Hopefully next time I can go w/ and maybe show some fun stuff!

Thanks for FYI. Sheridan used to be good 6-8 years ago. Now it is down the drain. I ride it still to clear my mind. Friend of mine talked to a cop in Wilmete and he said that village refuses to fix it up primarily to avoid more bikes and more muscle cars. He said the last time they fixed it they had a real mess with people going off-road due to too much speed. So, we might be our own enemy
