Ride The Rio

My normal riding partner is semi-bagging me for our trip to Ride The Rio this year... he's leaving late and trailering with his wife... so I'm wondering if anyone else from the Houston area is planning on going to RTR this year, and would possibly like to ride out there together...

Ride The Rio

The Rally is based in Fort Davis this year, which makes it about a 100 miles to the center of Big Bend... but still right at the McDonald Observatory loop, and not so far from the River Road (Lajitas to Terlingua) or the park for a day trip.

If anyone is interested, I'm planning on leaving on Wednesday, March 14th from Houston, riding to Kerrville, spending the night at the YO Ranch, then riding from Kerrville to Fort Davis on Thursday... Spend Friday and Saturday riding the awesome roads in the area, then coming back to Houston on Sunday, March 18th.

As it turns out... work is kicking my a$$ at the moment, so I'm going to have to skip RTR this year... much to my chagrin. But looking on the bright side, next year, I'll have my Skyway Fuel Cell in place...
