Wednesday, July 20, 2005 is the 14th annual Ride to Work Day.

Ride your motorcycle on this day to demonstrate:

The number of motorcyclist to the general public and to politicians.

That motorcyclists are from all occupations and walks of life.

That motorcyclists can reduce traffic and parking congestion in large cities.

That motorcycles are for transportation as well as recreation.

That motorcycling is a social good.

Nah, I hate going to the drive up at Wendys for lunch on my FJR.

Just about every Friday is my Motorcycle to Work day, tho! B)

would not even think about leaving my bike parked at canal street( N.Y.C) in the middle of the night

Almost every day is ride to work day for me too. Our company safety department is showing some instruction MC riding DVD next Wednesday. I guess its good to have a company that supports cyclists. Now if only they would build that sunshade/conopy to protect our beautiful machines from the sun all day.

'Ready... what's up? Glad to see ya o'this way.

That would be nice. But for now... I just use a cover.

Everyday is ride to work day for me. I am in Destin Fl. this week for a family vacation and will not be working for ride to work day. Sure miss my FJR and SV. B)

I work from home, so no ride to work day. On the upside, my commute is about 30 seconds.

Here in Colorado I think I only missed riding to work 10 days in the last year, so chances are pretty good I'll be on the bike.

Checking the schedule I guess I don't work that day so chances are again good I'll be on the bike :)

300 days of sunshine and I never winterize by motorcycle.

Oh, I will ride to work on Wednesday too!

Ride safe

Almost every day is a ride to work day. Riding stops when a) ice b ) salt hits the road. The last few days I rode to work last year were in the mid-teens as I set off in the dark on my 1hr/each way commute.

A previous employer put down diamond plate strips for motorcycle side stands. They also put the parking right in front of the security guard so he could keep an eye on things. A typical day would have 20-30 bikes parked.

Hmmm, first time I have had an unwanted smilie! When I originally noted a) ice then b ) I had to add a space after the b to prevent B)

How 'bout if I ride it home from work on Wednesday? I'm already here, since Monday morning. 2 on, 4 off :D :D :D

I never ride to work. I use public transportation, to reduce congestion and help save our Mother, the Earth, from the horrors fossil fuels are producing.
