It sounds like Judy might set-up a caring bridge page so she can keep people updated. As you can imagine she is spending all of her time at the hospital and trying to keep up with email with family and friends.

As for people wanting contact info etc. Understand that Jim is still in ICU which means he can receive nothing at this point. When the time comes i'm sure there will be information to send him a card, etc.

Please continue to pray for Jim and Family.

She might consider having someone else do the writing/updating for a little while during the most difficult time. Don't know if she has a close family member/friend who could help with that, print out greetings to read to him, etc. I'm thinking that hearing so much good energy coming his way might rub off on her too... she needs that as well.

Get better Jim. You know those roads, and ride, as well as anyone I've ever met. First thoughts are for your well being, obviously. After you're in better shape, it would be enlightening to hear more about what happened. It's sad to hear of a top-notch rider and top-notch guy in this situation.

After reading the Caring Bridge Journal my prayers and best wishes to those who were with him. I know first hand just how crappy I felt during this same kind of deal when folks I was with took a hit. Hang in there folks!

I got an email from Grumpy via the FJR Assistance List last month requesting removal from him. I won't read into anything he said but I will repost the content of his request. Pretty much says it all.

"Steve, please remove me from the listing. I had a bad crash the end of November and am still in rehab. The bike was totaled and at 70, I'm finished riding."

I let him know that he continues to be in our thoughts and prayers for a good recovery.
