I haven't heard that name for many, many years. Not even sure it's the same place - out by Ft Sill? When I went to the basic officer's course (USMC) the two hot chow places were Mears (Meers?) and the Old Plantation. Wow, great memories! Oh, I'd love to come along but a little to long of a ride from VA to get there!

um.... no rain for Saturday and sunday.... and I rode today with clouds all around.... hopin to make in home dry.

And BTW.... Same meers store for JimLor. Pie plate sized burger and ho made cobbler. Sharin the burger with wife. she cant have my cobbler.

the bunch of them have a ride planned outa dallas or something. I am just meetin them there.

Oh i just missed torrential rain on the way home today.... wow flooded streets and cool stuff.
