Riding Hot

When riding in very warm or hot weather, especially in slow or stop and go traffic, I notice the temperature gauge goes up past the halfway point and sometimes even more. Is this normal?

Why are so many people's first few posts on this forum paranoid about how many bars get displayed on the temperature gauge and somehow presume 1/2 way is bad or something?

It's fine. Don't worry. Breathe. It's performing EXACTLY as designed. Read #29 here as we suggested strongly when you signed up...and the other 28 while you're at.
