So jeans and Nike shoes make her the poster child for motorcycle safety? And didn't the article mention riding in a "cute little t-shirt"? or some similarly protective garb? Hmm...must be a Kevlar t-shirt.
Yeah, but wouldn't Radman look sexy w/ his tiara on that hot pink bike of hers?Quite a few inconsistancies of what she does and what she preaches. All and all, probably good for the sport though. I just don't think she knows as much as she thinks she knows.

Uh-oh. Rad's going third person on us... Paging Dr. Melfi!Rad looks good in anything, even nothing.
Good point Mike. My comment about her not being the poster child for ATGATT certainly came from the perspective that many of us on this forum have...that of one who insists on wearing all the gear. The general public really does see the helmet and jacket as the extent of protective gear required. From most non-ATGATT folks perspectives she's a safety fanatic. And correct-a-mundo on the good image thing. It's refreshing to see a motorcycle article that isn't about a shooting at a casino.Actually, I thought it was a good article. Primarily, it puts a GOOD image on motorcycle riders. She is a professional at work, she does wear some protective gear (helmet and jacket), she is a second generation lady rider, she took the MSF course, she rides for relaxation and pleasure, when she was injured it was by another biker being "over zealous". It seems to me the article separates the good, safety conscious rider from the bad, poser or zany rider. This type of image is exactly what the non-riding public needs to understand: Under our helmets se are all human beings from different walks of life and strata of society sharing the roadways and highways.
Sure, we who wear ATGATT understand the need for it, that is another epiphany the young lady will come to. At least it wasn't another "bad-biker-chic-with-attitude story".
