I have the Helibar triple clamp riser on my 2008. I am considering the MCL riser. A friend has one on his 2007 and it appears to move the bars a bit higher and further back that the Helibar. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm watching too. When I researched for my gen III, I couldn't find anything that moved it back/up more than heli, but I don't recall there being a great deal of difference either. Are MCL's spec'd? Heli's are, on their site.

I have the MCL riser plate on my '07...they go 1 3/4" back and up 1 1/2" in one solid piece, plus rotate the bar ends forward a bit. It also has a few RAM ball mounting points...I only ever used a steering nut cap mount. It did solve my comfort problems. Very beefy unit.

I'm still thinking about doing the same for my '15, but I'm undecided so far.

Heli moves them up 1" and 3" back max. At full rearward setting, the bars are the same width as stock. If you put them all the way forward, it's possible to go 3" wider than stock width, while retaining the 1" height gain and a 1-1/2" rearward pull from stock. I could still use another 1" up and 1" back, but that's just me. Comes with installed ram ball if you so choose. From Burn's specs, it sounds like the heli and the MCL come close to matching when the heli is adjusted as far forward as it can be. https://www.helibars.com/productimage.php?product_id=588&current_image=3

Thanks, all. That isn't what I have, Bill. Mine is the Helibars HRT076-2. Like in this link:

Looks like the MCL are an inch taller but the same distance back. I'll save the money.
